Thaddeus R. Maciag Esq. has served as a Municipal Attorney and as a Mayor in Somerset County municipalities in the Somerville - Princeton area corridor, and served for a year as Special Counsel to the County Board of Freeholders. He also served on Governor Chris Christie's Transition Team (State Authorities unit), as Special Counsel to the Governor in the Office of Governor Tom Kean, and as Washington Staff Chief to U.S. Congressman Jim Collins.

Ted Maciag successfully argued a landmark Government Bonding and Financing case before The Supreme Court of New Jersey:  Lance v. McGreevey, 180 N.J. 590, 853 A.2d 856 (2004), in which the Supreme Court re-defined the powers of the Governor, the Legislature, and the voters in the areas of public finance. As a young lawyer, Ted Maciag argued a landmark Municipal Law case in the Appellate Division of the N.J. Superior Court:  Trust Co. of N.J. v. Planning Board of the Borough of Freehold, 244 N.J.
